“Days” counts from the first time we saw the listing. A + means it was already up when we started tracking that broker, so it is at least that old.

About DealLedger

The problem. There is no public registry of small businesses for sale. Listing dates are hidden, the same business turns up on several sites under different numbers, and stale listings inflate every count.

What this is. An open record of businesses listed for sale by brokers. We read every broker site we can find — 485 and increasing daily — write down what we see, and keep the history: when a listing appeared, what changed, when it came down. The data is CC0 and the code is public.

What this isn’t. We don’t rank listings, recommend brokers, capture leads or broker deals. A record, not a marketplace.

How the dates work. Days listed counts from the first time we saw a listing ourselves, starting March 2026. A + means it was already up when we first crawled that broker, so it is at least that old. Paste a BizBuySell or BizQuest URL into the box above and we estimate the date from where its listing number falls between our calibration points — labelled as an estimate, because that is what it is.
